I hate lawyers- unless I need one myself. :-)

The Texas crowd Bush brought to DC has mostly failed to impress me. Karen
Hughes was pretty good, but she bailed. Karl Rove was rendered demonstrably
human in the last election cycle. The rest of them were just campaign lifers
on the gravy train, as far as I can tell.

I like Tony Snow. He's a bit of a rock star in that DC journalist crowd. I
know he was motivated by patriotism and the desire to help the President
during a difficult period, but I, too, have to wonder how long he can watch
the jokers around him without throwing up his hands and saying, "F- it, I'm
going to go get a steak at the Palm. Don't call me."
