I'm not an expert, but I don't think it's a wolf because I believe wolves are
"lankier" with taller, spindlier legs, and they tend to look much leaner
overall.

That, and you can dance with them.

Subject: Expert Opinion needed: Wolf or Coyote

After a long night of my dog barking his head off and me not seeing anything
outside, I caught a glimpse of the perps, or at least one of them.

My question is whether this is a wolf or coyote? I always thought coyotes
were a lot smaller than this?

As a side note, the first photo was taken by my 18-200 Sigma while the rest
were taken with my Nikon 70-300. The other interesting thing is that the
first 4 are taken from inside my dining room out the window while the other
one I step out onto the patio. I think my LowE windows actually filter
something out....how 'bout that. Maybe I didn't waste my money on them :)

He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green he leadeth me the silent waters by
With bright knives he releaseth my soul
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places
He converteth me to lamb cutlets
For lo,m he hath great power and great hunger
When cometh the day we lowly ones
Through quiet reflection and great dedication
  Master the art of karate
  Lo, we shall rise up
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water."
