I was surprised when I found out that Wal-Mart was as the forefront of this.
They are enacting sweeping changes that are environmentally friendly. Their
contractors (of which my wife is one), are required to watch environmental
videos that illustrate what is currently going on, and what needs to occurr
in order to affect change.

The engineering contractors have to work within these confines on all new
construction and on all wal-mart remodels.

I know that they are big enough to be able to afford this, and I'm sure
there is a profit scheme in here somewhere, but i'm still surprised....and
impressed.
