While I don't think that the nationalization of an industry is what
Clinton was truly advocating with her statement, why didn't you
include the part where she goes on to say, "... and put them into an
alternative energy fund that will begin to fund alternative smart
energy alternatives that will actually begin to move us toward the
direction of independence."

Perhaps because it doesn't support the "Hillary's Dark Agenda" mold if
one includes the what or the why?

Now, that said, I think that she definitely goofed and said the "I
want to take those profits" bit wrong; perhaps if she had said
something like "[I think it'd be a good idea for the energy industry
(oil, etc) to put a portion of those profits into an] alternative
energy fund that will begin to fund alternative smart energy
alternatives that will actually begin to move us toward the direction
of independence."

'Course the winger blogs'd have a hay-day with that too, so one can't
win for losin'...
