Uh, No. CO is Carbon monoxide, CO2 is Carbon DIoxide. One is the product of incomplete combustion and will kill in low dosages (binds to hemoglobin not allowing Oxygen to enter the blood stream) while the other is the result od complete combustion and will kill only in high dosages (only suffocates) and at high partial pressures (poisons the body).

All animal life produces it, so does burning anything that contains carbon. The alleged problem is the EXCESS production of CO2 that resulted from the industrial revolution.
