But the biggest public proponent for this, Al Gore, is probably one of the 
biggest individual CO2 producers (I'll leave off hot air and methane) of the 
environmental movement with his use of private jets, lack of use of alternate 
energy sources, etc.  If he wants me to take him seriously, he needs to sell 3 
of his 4 multimillion dollar properties, simplify his life, use alternate 
energy sources, fly commercial and drive a hybrid vehicle.

Every little bit counts, according to the "experts."  So why don't Gore and 
Moore live the life they preach?

I did too, in New Orleans.  However, there is no bus service where i live and 
work now.  If there was a bus line here I would use it.  When I worked in 
Metairie, I walked to work every day.  If there were decent bike paths, I would 
use that when the weather permits.  None of this exists where I live and I had 
my Civic totaled in an Interstate accident.  That is why I drive a Tahoe.
