Yup. As another example, I know a guy who goes up to the Iditarod and sells coffee, hot dogs, and popcorn from a stand he bought from a Wisconsin carny for $100. He works the race for 3 weeks and then doesn't work the rest of the year. Starting doing it after dropping out of college at 22 or so.
