I never said "bring it on" was a wise choice. I am a staunch conservative
but I do not think that we should have gone to Iraq. That was an obvious
mistake. We should have concentrated our efforts in Afghanistan. Still,
since we are there, I do not advocate the liberal cut-and-run tactic (and
yes, I know there are conservatives who are embracing that tactic, I call it
a re-election ploy). I feel that since we are there we need to get democracy
instilled in that country. I know it is going to take a while and I know
that more men and women will die, and I know that I will be sent there again
(actually I am going to Afganistan next year) and I know that I very well
could be one of the ones dying, but we still need to get things finished in
those countries.
