well how would you legislate against that? Thou shalt not drool when pornography read in your classroom depicts the violent or even lethal degradation of women and distresses your female students? Hehe. I know better. And you can't just say no pornography because the asshole was right, it's protected by the first amendment. And if you do it any way next thing you know you can't read The Handmaid's Tale or Lady Chatterly's Lover. So then you get into what is "really horrible pornography" and it's really hard to draw that line when we aren't talking about filming small children getting killed.
It's closer to the truth to call it sexual harassment. The elements of control and inequality were there. BTW I was quite adult. This was a community college that will remain nameless, since I no longer have those papers proving I speak the truth :) this was oh ten years or so ago.
