What almost worse about this is that they actually get respected (well... mostly-respected) actors to perform in this shit? Richard Dreyfuss (sorry... "Oscar Winner Richard Dreyfuss"), Zooey Deschanel, Alan Cumming - I mean it's not like Sci-Fi can have all that much cash. How do they convince seemingly intelligent actors to completely ass-rape our cultural and literary heritage? Haven't Peter Jackson and Bryan Singer shown us that you CAN make millions while respecting your source material? Is it really that hard?
