He's a DBA, but he's also a mac user so what'd you expect.
Why do you insist on blaming a user for a technician's error? At least
if it was a PC shop they'd say we totally screwed up and will fix it
for free.

I don't need to back up my stuff because my PCs never break :)
Well I did have a server that died after 5 years of very heavy use but
I did regular back-ups.
