When did I say I haven't seen OSX? I said that it hasn't been my primary
desktop.

I had it running is MS Virtual Server, and on hardware. A friend of mine
had it running on a dell laptop.

The core is BSD, it isn't like there is anything amazingly special about
the hardware, it is the same commodity parts used by everybody else. In
fact I even posted info on this list when I did it.

The first builds before apple was shipping the hardware were compiled to
run on standard intel based systems in their labs. They had been working
on it long before the approached intel about it. They hadn't decided
initially about which brand to go with, but they were porting everything
so it would be ready to ship as soon as the deal was inked.

So yes, you can get OSX to install on any intel based system. You just
have to try.
