Cool article. I wonder the same thing as the author- why do so many
companies have a problem with telecommuting? Why do they insist on such
strict office hours? Last time I checked none of us were manning a lever on
an assembly line, or pushing a button in a factory. It is, as the author
says, some weird Luddite philosophy about office work. Micromanagement is
part of it, too. I've been through that before and don't want to go back
there.
