Between my employer's contributions and my contributions we are paying 
$1,200 a month for medical insurance.  I shutter to think of how much of 
my taxes go to cover medical  insurance.  I wonder what $14,400 a year + 
current taxes would do towards a National / Universal or whatever you 
want to call it medical plan.   For those who wanted you could still buy 
private insurance or go to private doctors outside of the national plan.
