This whole thing is having a blowback effect for me: I wasn't an Imus listener or fan, but I'm going to be now! Further: * If we're really going to mimic media companies then we'll need to play that Imus clip 4 times an hour on multiple outlets. * If we're really going to mimic black people we'll need to add "smack those dirty" to "nappy headed hoes". * If we're really going to mimic the Rutgers team we'll need to add that clip to their iPods. The whole thing is shameful, but not for Imus, for anyone that thinks any organized action should be taken by anyone over this. And because there are people doing that, I feel very comfortable in saying that we've gone as far as we're ever going to in removing institutional racism. It's over and done. As some of the media heroes say, "To the windows, to the walls; till the sweat drops down my balls, till all these bitches crawl" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Deploy Web Applications Quickly across the enterprise with ColdFusion MX7 & Flex 2 Free Trial http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=RVJU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:232330 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
