You are right, At a company one principle development is completed it goes
to QA for user testing.

Developers aren't users, we don't catch logic issues the first time around,
and after 250 times it seems right to begin with. That is why others do the
testing and report back to the developers to correct the problems. And then
another round of testing.

You can test things as you write them, but you cannot catch everything, you
simply can't. You need to have undamaged testers, meaning, somebody that
knows how it generally should work, but hasn't seen the development process
so they don't keep that in the back of their mind while they are testing.
