I was wondering when this ol'chestnut would be rolled out. In *fact* in scientific terms a "Theory" is a grouping of supportable repeatable demonstrable *facts*. from Answers.com "A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena." Now, if we were talking about the word theory in common parlance, then, of course, you'd have made a point.
