Religion asks only one question: why are we here to ask questions? Some people (like me) are comfortable with ambiguity to that answer. Some people aren't. But science doesn't favor either of them and so science should be a core course(s) without comparison. Philosophy should include religion, but it's not a core skill that schools need teach; that's what parents and private schools are for. Public school is for readin', ritin', and rithmatic.
