Theories change over time, as we are better able to understand them. Evolution is a Theory, made up of facts and observations. But it isn't yet a law.
Gravity is a law. Measurable and totally reproducible in every way possible. The Motion is a law. Even your definition clearly states it. Statements or principles made up to explain something. Theory is what people think, it is how we link these observations. It isn't fact, it is linking various facts together. At one point Gravity was a theory. Observations linked together, the Law of Motion was just the Theory of Motion. You don't have to insult me, and if you want to argue word definitions we can.
