Why do we want that?  Why should we glorify, encourage, or celebrate
the intentional infliction of agony for pleasure?

Again, how would that be different than, say, killing a puppy with BB
gun and then eating it?  Or, hey, you could slow down death more is
you used a butter knife.

What's the difference?
