Have you ever gone hunting? Or how about fishing? I'm not going to try to
explain to you. It's a way of life for millions of folks. I don't need to
kill my own food either, but it hasn't stopped me from hunting pig, deer,
elk, turkey and a variety of small game. The goal is always a one shot
kill... But it just doesn't always work out that way.

Your invocation of killing puppies is a straw man and would fall on
completely deaf ears in many parts of the world where dogs are food...

You go ahead and keep thinking it's cruel and I'll keep hunting and eating
what I kill.

But they don't need the food and if you can't kill an animal in one blow,
then it's just torture: the intentional infliction of pain, agony, and fear
purely for your amusement.

Why do we want that? Why should we glorify, encourage, or celebrate the
intentional infliction of agony for pleasure?

Again, how would that be different than, say, killing a puppy with BB gun
and then eating it? Or, hey, you could slow down death more is you used a
butter knife.

What's the difference?
