Subject: Dog/Tick question

Spent the weekend at the farm, took the dog with me. For whatever reason,
the tick stuff I put on her the day before we went down there seemed to have
ZERO affect. As a result, I've been picking ticks off my dog for 2 days
now....easily over a 100. She's had ticks before and had no negative
affects. I was able to get the vast majority of them out with no problem,
but there were a few where the heads were stuck to far in, and remain in the
bite area.

Those areas are a bit more swollen and reddish, mostly from my trying to get
them out. I've been watching those areas and they don't seem to be getting
any worse. I guess my question is, is there anything I need to do as a
precaution? I"m not that worried about it, but wanted to know if anyone had
any horror stories or anything...or any other suggestions other than just
sit and watch to make sure everything heals up as it should.

TIA

BG
