I am MOS qualified as a Tank Turret Repairer, not infantry. And I had
deployed, and like pretty much everyone else in Iraq, I performed an
infantry mission (force protection, convoy security, mounted and dismounted
patrols). This is my second time in Iraq and I have NEVER performed my
actual MOS, so I figure that I might as well reclassify to an MOS that I
will use when I get deployed again. And besides, the California National
Guard went light infantry, so my MOS is pretty much useless since we only
have one tank company now, and it is not near where I live. The unit I am in
now is a cavalry squadron.

Infantry school?

I thought you were MOS qualified and had deployed before?
