I think that the consensus from the scientific community is very clear, humans are changing the climate and making the world considerably warmer than it has been for thousands of years. An very very small minority who are mostly sponsored by industries who would be harmed by measures designed to combat global warming do not balance out the hard science. If its a choice between politics and what the scientific data dictate, I'll dump the politics. As anyone who as had even a tiny bit of training in the sciences know, the data dictate your conclusions, not one's ideology.
