Blue Cross Blue Shield turned me down once for having asthma. Never
mind that it's mild allergic asthma and I've never had an attack...
Anyway. I haven't bothered to apply there this time around. The state
has a high-risk pool I am not high-risk enough for and a low-income
pool I am not low-income enough for ;) I'm about ready to stand on a
corner with a sign saying "Will work for medical insurance."
