depends :) For me, it'd be the 17" hands down. They may be more of a pain in the ass to go mobile with, but I'm usually at my desk. The only time I take my laptop anywhere is conferences or classes, which don't happen frequently enough to make me care about lugging it around. If you're carrying it to work every day... might be a different story tho.
I also like a ridiculously high resolution so i can get as much on the screen as possible. I've got a 15.4" Inspiron right now, and the only thing that i don't like about it is the screen size.
