I would suggest contacting them and making you case to them. However, in the end, you are responsible for your server. I am certain that you can probably negotiate a lower rate for the services rendered, but probably not completely.
Please keep in mind that the concept ASAP literally means "As Soon As Possible", it does NOT mean "right away" or "Within the hour". So they may have gotten to your server "ASAP", at least within their own schedule. Bottom line: Contact them and argue your case. Tell them you are not happy with the service they supplied and you feel that part of the recovery should be paid for by them. The can either agree, or disagree.
