No it's not and it was wrong then. I don't like Trent Lott. I think he was a bad leader and bad for the Republican party. If we were having this same discussion a year ago, I would be saying the same thing except about Lott and not Daschle. I think that the political leadership on both sides are a bunch of self-indulgent children. They lack principles. They lack morals. They lack honesty and integrity. I'm praying for the day when all of these guys are seen for what they are and get booted.
My criticisms of Daschle are not, by default, an endorsement of Lott. Therefore, not hypocritical in and of itself.
