You know, I was thinking of mentioning this myself. Having a designer to pair with can really make the difference. I don't actually do a lot of sites myself, as my business is geared around sales of my software and custom coding additions/modifications to it, but there are a number of folks that use it as their ecommerce platform and have been really successful selling sites to small businesses, and it's having a nice portfolio of professional-looking sites that basically sell themselves that separates those that get lots of business versus those that don't (a bit of good marketing certainly helps as well!)
