Yeah... but like I said I'm VERY anal about it. ;^)

Windows Media Player is actually quite good at this. But to save space the
default behavior is to store the album art in the same folder as the files
(one file for all the tracks that need it). This means that art isn't
embedded in the track - however dragging art to the album embeds the art in
all the tracks.

I'm also a little picky about the art I use - most automatic tools provide
small, poor images. When you do it yourself you can pick the best, clearest
image to use.

Lastly a huge amount of my stuff can't be picked up by the automated tools.
Video game and Anime soundtracks nearly never work, lots of bootlegs
(especially of live comedy performances) and local bands. In those cases I
have to find a good image and use it (often editing it).

For the most part the tagging works... but again a ton of my stuff can't be
found (both iTunes and WMP insist, for example, that "Laura's Theme" from
the Silent Hill Soundtrack is, in fact, from "Dr. Zhivago").

So I end up doing a lot of manual work anyway.

Someday (not soon) I'll do the same for my video collection! ;^)
