From what I understand, he purposely did not campaign hard in Iowa because he knew he would fare poorly there. He is concentrating on NH because he feels that these are more "his people" and might have a better chance there. Personally I don't think so. I think, that McCain, Thompson or even Romney (shudders) has a way better chance than anyone else of winning there. His Lieberman endorsement helps a lot, especially with the independents in NH (this is MY opinion only). And of course I was not surprised with his poor ratings there because Iowa is not a state for him. Two issues near and dear to Iowans are abortion and gun control. Iowans, being the religious people they are are against abortion and are pro gun.
