Glad Solomon is back to normal. They do know how to hold a grudge, even if it is just for a day or two.
Doran is always ready to eat. : ) Last week, though, I had bought some "treats" that are vitamin supplements and some liquid coat improver you put on their food. Both of these products are supposed to taste good. Needless to say, they want nothing to do with either product and wouldn't touch their food. On those rare occasions, or when Doran is sick (which happened a couple of weeks ago), I try to adjust the level of insulin down - maybe two units instead of five. According to the vet, better too much blood sugar than not enough. I have no idea what his levels are right now. I think we need to plan another trip to the vet. Oh fun! e -----Original Message----- From: Larry Lyons [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, March 18, 2002 11:43 AM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: Happy Monday Peoples! Saturday evening the vet said she was doing fine, "very grumpy" She's had reactions before - her not eating or not willing to eat. Nothing like this however. We had been monitoring her and adjusting her insulin as required. I guess I missed this one entirely. We have Karo Syrup for her as well. As for how she's doing, she was quite po'd at us - I assume for leaving her at the emergency clinic. She was po'd at everything to say the least, if any of the ferrets came within a few feet of her, she would swat at them. At one point I think she was actually stalking the smallest one. Sunday she was back to normal - she actually sat downstairs with us by the fireplace while we were watching some DVD's. larry -- Larry C.
