not having a zune, I'm not really qualified to compare the two. That said, here's my rundown
If I have a choice between an interface designed by Apple and an interface designed by MS, I'll almost always choose Apple. The next thing is the ubiquity of stuff for the iPod vs the Zune. You can get just about any peripheral for the iPod. BMW integrates with the iPod, not the Zune. Sound quality: I've read articles about "audiophiles" using a modified iPod to get great sound on their home stereo. I have yet to read that same thing about the Zune.
