Yuppers!  And be sure to calibrate everything, as learning with a well
calibrated craft is a totally different experience from learning with
a poorly calibrated one.

It can be a real PITA at first (get crash kit*s*!), but it is good practice.

Cheap choppers are a bonus-- wait a bit till you spring for the >$500 models. =]

They've got near-indestructible helis for <$100 these days...
