I guess you'd have to be raised around antisemitism to really "get it".

Here, in NM, it's not very rampant (at least I've never, besides
kkk-type skinheads, met anyone who "hated dem jeews"- vocally, at
least).

I guess being a victim of racism myself, and seeing the real causes
(plain old law of numbers/power, folks)... well, let's put it like
this: A black guy, who's never even experienced racism, tries to give
me a hard time because "his people" were blah blah blah-- I can't
stand it.

It's the ones who wear it like a badge... the "We're victims" idea
just bugs the crap outta me.

I bet I just don't get it. Probably because I'm a white guy, and
white folk can't really know what it's like.

Everybody's special, like snowflakes. Everyone. Exactly the same; Different.

Every thing is Unique :-P

Maybe if one is raised being told one is special, and one believes it,
it is so? Eh.

Just seems like some people would rather live in the past, than brave
the future.

Not directed at you, Michael. Directed at the "we're victims" folks.
Being a victim is silly.

Implies no responsibility, you see.

Bah. I probably just stuck a couple feet in my mouth--
Ahhhh! I'm a victim of myself!

Oh well. That's life, I reckon.

-PS my favorite trip in the bible is the "end times" stuff. That dude
was /so/ on shrooms! "The scroll was sweet in my mouth, but bitter in
my stomach" or whatever. "And then the visions came". Not that he
wasn't seeing the future-- but, wow, that was a trip if I've ever
journaled one!
