Wow. I'm waaay out of touch as far as antisemitism (or even semitism)
goes, so forgive me for saying things that sound like stereotypical
whatnots or whatever.

I was honestly wondering about conflicts of interest, or whatever.

Jews can come here to NM and get a position of authority, I bet. =]

Maybe even Hispanics!

If you're a woman tho.... hmmm...

j/k. :)

All I know about scripture is stuff I've picked up along the way, but
I don't know for sure that the cannonites (or whoever they were) were
/really/ evil or whatnot. I don't have problems with idols atop
mountains or whatever-- I don't take kindly to killing, to get what
one wants tho, hands down.

The problem is that "we" were promised something that was someone
else's-- doesn't that bother you?

The stuff in the old testament is pretty harsh, man. Not sure how it
all relates with the Semitic beliefs, as I've never really studied, or
even had strongly-religious friends. It's all just been for fun, for
me... in my spare time.

I would presumably want to know why, and then find a way to make it stop.

Or maybe find a way to harvest them, and then sell 'em back to the
folks who shot them, and thus, make a pretty penny off of their desire
to see things flying through the air at me...

Killing seldom solves these types of problems, my friend.

I've learned that through experience.

I thought you just said that the standard was a hoax?

That should explain many of the stranger aspects... :)

Part of the deal is probably the history of the region... has to do
with the Brits and the Turks and a bunch of other crazy stuff.

Go Empires! Go Religions!

People don't take kindly to getting "some" of their stuff back?
(joking, sorta ;)

Who does it /really/ belong to?

I'm gonna go "Native American" on someone, someday. And then I'll go
"local fauna" on the next one.

If this land is your land, and this land is my land...

imagine all the people...
