Oh ok.

You're saying though that once those back tires lost traction up at
the wall for whatever reason, that a crash was going to happen.

There's no way he could have saved it. He should have kept steady
pressure on the accelerator and just ridden the car which would have
possibly continued to rotate counter clockwise, into the wall.
