But at the end of the day, Iraqi's are going to have to stand up and FIGHT for their continued security and freedom.
They have shown almost NO desire or ability to do that. They had soldiers deserting by the hundreds in their fight with the Sadr army last week. US soldiers seem to be constantly frustrated by the unwillingness of the Iraqi army to FIGHT for themselves. Maybe that's why we militarily beat the shit out of these people both times we fought them....they give up. They don't seem to care enough to fight for anything...and the ones who DO care enough, are fighting a jihad against the infidels! If I sound cynical, it's because I am...especially after reading the most recent reports of why the Iraqi Army's latest move against the Sadr army was pretty much a stalemate.
