The difference between you and, say, Robert is that he's only idealistic about a single country whereas you're idealistic about the World. The interesting question, then, is do we as a country support democratic imperialism? Should we build up a sufficient military and State Dept force such that we can prioritize and convert all foreign countries into western democracies? If so, I could see a new and permanent Africa Corps. All of that doesn't seem like a horrible idea from an idealistic point of view, it just seems unrealistic and prone to the law of unintended consequences. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:258409 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
