Yeah you can roll those over into a traditional IRA... etrade will do
it for you. from there you have lots more options then the 401(k)
where you can buy stocks (which I don't recommend) or mutual funds
(which I do).


I would really suggest a Roth IRA since they grow tax free but you
can't roll over pretax (401(k)) over to a post tax account (Roth IRA)
without penalties.
