Once again.. to you NY'ers (or North Easterner's) .
Next Wednesday, I need to drive from Newark to Providence, RI. I need to arrive in Providence for dinner, around 8pm ish. Google Maps tells me to basically take the 95, cut across on the GW bridge, through the Bronx, up to coast to Providence. I was playing the traffic times on Google to give me an idea about traffic. Google says 227 miles in about 4+ hours. I was thinking about leaving at 3pm. Good idea? So, I am asking someone that actually lives or drives in the area. Should I just stay on the 95? Should I go up NJ some more and cut across later?
