That, by the way, is the exact reason why Universal Health Care won't work. Here's why: (1.) There's 3 parties involved: patient, insurer, provider (doctor). (2.) The job of the insurer is to spread the cost out for the patient so the patient doesn't get hit with a $100M bill they can't pay. (3.) But who's sending the $100M bill? The doctor. Thus if you replace the insurer with the government you've haven't touched cost. And do you think doctors are going to lower their cost because the government tells them too? Hell no. Now the real commies would say, "we'll force them to!" Guess what happens to quality? It goes in the crapper. Guess what happens to research? crapper. Guess what happens to innovation? crapper. Thus THE ONLY solution *for America* is to create a well-regulated market that controls cost with the power of the consumer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:262896 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
