>From the Russian perspective there should be no ceasefire, they have no
reason to do anything else other than to crush the Georgian threat and to
remove US Interference in their back yard.
This was exactly what Foreign Policy analysts told Bush about his policy in
Georgia, and what they told the Georgians as well. If they started a war
with Russia they could not win and
would lose everything.
Georgia went ahead and started the attack, and they are now paying the price
for that action.
It's anyone's guess as to why they did that,since the outcome of that action
was so very clear and is now happening right out of a text book.
