I'm thinking it applies in the "aware" aspect of the energy I mentioned.

It's a little different when you make it sorta "alive"-- sending
messages and whatnot.

I think listening to these messages is sorta like talking to God, you
know? A higher power, I should say, perhaps.

Maybe i's the group consciousness. Or El. Maybe it's the Energy
itself. Maybe it's just patterns that are so beautiful, they are more
than the sum of their parts.

I think that, even when we're down, we know what we need to do to get
back up, but actually doing it? I applaud that, is what I was saying
about Hatton. Maybe it's some meds for a bit to even you out, maybe
it's some Plato -- maybe a combination of the two, or funny movies --
you get the idea.

As for relation to belief, I think it's more like belief in mystery
than belief for belief's sake.

Ponder this:

The observer is linked directly with what's observed. The observed is
affected by these observations.

Now consider this: Peter Pan needed to *believe* he could fly, to fly.

Somehow combine that into some type of deal where if you actively
disbelieve, you could actually cut yourself out of whatever it is you
are disbelieving. -- Or, just think about the flying, or even the
placebo effect (which does *real* things, which should trip people
out).

There may or may not be anything greater than what is (what is might
be way sicker than we think, but I digress), however, what is the
difference between a half-full glass and a half-empty one? Maybe just
drinking and pouring, but you can probably get the gist of what I'm
aiming for here. [-:

Yeah, to be true, it doesn't matter, belief or no is grand, GRAND I
tell you! I happen to like the idea of The Force, or help from my
subconscious (which may be linked with other's consciousnesses-- heck,
maybe everything! And maybe it doesn't have to be so "sub"!), or just
the possibility of More.

The bad stuff happens because, somehow, we're all o.k. with it. It is
meant to be. It will lead to the greatness that is tomorrow (or maybe
day after that). We are supposed to use that crap to learn, and make
things better and whatever, probably. Not just for the kids, but for
us, right now.

Hmmm... but actually doing it?

If it were so easy to do what we know we need to, we'd be there already.

It is! And it's super-powerful. That deal about T.C.B.? It appears
that it's easier when other people are doing it to.

Take smiles-- I love 'em. You can use them to totally shift the
dynamic of a room of hundreds. Probably thousands. Probably, it's
infinite, but gets infinitely weak, or something like that. It's the
good side of the mob mentality, I guess. Group think doesn't have to
be used for evil, and it's actually better in the long run (IMHO) NOT
to use it for evil. Good generally does pay out better in the end.

Not to say that to be good, you have to be a "believer" or any crap
like that, I guess I should mention, in case it comes off that way
ever. Seeing as how I believe that everything happens for a reason,
and everything is needed, and connected, and balanced, it's obvious
that I believe that we need disbelievers. It's just fun to think
about this, well, probably deepest question, you know? Are we alone?
Or -- whoah -- Is "I" even singular?

Eh, I love the idea of virally spreading peace, love, and good vibes
and whatnot, mostly. Wish I actually did it more often. I know I
should. [:

It's all connected, even if I do a horrible job of it at times.
