The kid was in such agony, I think he was just trying to come up with some way to get the plane turned around and headed back to Dallas. Awful. (I almost forgot...as we exited the plane, most of the passengers were fixated on the kids and their meeting with their dad. The dad was there with what must have been his girlfriend or perhaps new wife. Anyway, he had some new toys for them...and when the kids saw dad, they RAN towards him and engulfed him in a big hug. They seemed genuinely excited as hell to see him All the previous tears forgotten.
