So we are going to punish successful people out of spite? Or jealousy?
Because we are punishing them, make no mistake, if we elect Barack
Obama.

Punishing success is not a formula for eliminating poverty. In a
global market, successful people will just take their marbles and go
elsewhere to play. We need to maintain our competitiveness as a market
for capital investment. If we follow Obama's plan, we'll have among
the highest upper income tax rates in the industrialized world. Money
will flee the U.S., the dollar will collapse, and we'll all be
screwed. I stay awake at night thinking about just how bad it will be.

The unfortunate reality that Congress must face up to in the coming
decade is that we can't keep spending more than we take in, and the
only solution in a global economy is to reduce spending. Until we
radically change Medicare and Social Security, we are stuck in this
mess. Why make it worse by raising taxes?
