I don't agree with you there. If you're living on $50k/yr then $350k/yr seems like a lot of money, but lifestyle simply adjusts to it. Now all of a sudden $350k/yr is just squeeking by and you wish you had $700k/yr. 3% is a lot of anyone's income. Would you be willing to give up 3% of your income if nobody else was?
