I walked into the kitchen that morning to find my wife glued to the TV. The first plane had hit the tower, and all hell was breaking loose. Then, and I can't remember this part exactly, but I think we actually watched the second plane hit the second tower. I remember instantly thinking of the Kurt Russel movie Executive Decision and that it must be a terrorist attack. My wife and I sat there watching the news for a couple of hours, wondering about the people we knew in New York and whether they were OK.
