I don't think anyone is making this a political rallying cry. Just
"where were you" stuff, like people used to do with the Kennedy
assasination and the Martin Luther King's as well. 9-11 was an
important moment after all.

Me, I got the news from a drifter in Galveston. He came up to us on
the street and told us two airplanes had hit the World Trade Center.
It was the "two" that got me. I thought he was raving. Then the
television was on in the next place I went to. Everyone there was just
watching the coverage, horror-struck. I think that whoever asked the
networks to stop replaying the tape of the second plane hitting was
right -- it was horrifying, over and over.

It was traumatic.
