I was actually in the US. Can you believe? It was surreal, i was heading to an office when the DJ said something very flippantly over the news that a plane had crashed into one of the World trade center towers. I thought it was a cessna or something. Then by the time we reached the office, we heard that a second plane had hit...and I wasn't able to access BBC, CNN or most other news sites. That's when I thought something was very very wrong.
We headedout of there quickly, because it was a federal building, and headed back to the house to see the events unfold on television. It all seemed so surreal.
